NH München Airport

We booked this hotel for a quick 6 hour stay in-between flights and were pleasantly surprised! Fantastic staff - I called the hotel in advance to ask about the shuttle bus from the airport and the lady I spoke to answered all my questions and also sent me an e-mail with the information. When we checked-in, Alexandros at reception was super helpful. I was travelling with my toddler and had suitcases and a buggy and he took our suitcases to the room. We were Lucky Guests and got a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated, as we had more space for the baby to run in. We also got free transfer to the airport - another nice surprise! The bed was very comfortable, the room was very, very clean and the temperature just perfect. We were leaving at 4:30 and there was an Early Bird buffet available opposite reception to grab a quick snack/fruit and a drink. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rebook in the future.

Chose the hotel for its shuttle service to the airport and that worked well. We had been promised a light breakfast even at 4am but the check-in staff said that this was not available. After we showed her the email that had been sent to us confirming the reservation with breakfast, she went off and checked about it and said that food would be available in the lobby in the morning at that time. Not sure if she just didn't know or if that initiated a change. However, croissants and jams and fruit and coffee were made available and we were not the only ones who appreciated it. She was one of those staff types that smiled a lot and provided information only when asked/pressed - not proactive in what you would need or keen to please you. Room was quite large and appreciated as we were repacking for our trip home. Hotel is boring for a tourist looking for charm. Has all the facilities but no charm of location. Dark grey hall walls, yuck. But definitely okay for what we needed.

Proximity to the airport. On-site restaurant was superb and breakfast was very good. Airport shuttle costs €5 per person but can get quite full so as we were a party of four with 6 suitcases the receptionist suggested we took a taxi instead. He booked us a large Mercedes van which cost €20 (the same as the hotel shuttle would have cost) and we had it all to ourselves.

Located a short Uber ride from the airport. The hotel was modern and clean with a wonderful staff. It was sold out due to flight disruptions and the staff handled the crowds perfectly both at registration and in the restaurant. Delicious dinner buffet with a huge variety of food options and a great wine list. Breakfast buffet was also great too.
